WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

Kenvirons, Inc. offers municipalities, water districts, water association and private entities extensive water distribution system design experience based upon the successful planning, funding, design and construction of hundreds of water system distribution projects. The design components of these projects have included a variety of water lines sized from small ¾" service lines to 24" water transmission mains, as well as, all necessary water pumping stations and water storage facilities.

Kenvirons, Inc. utilizes hydraulic computer modeling technology as a standard policy in order to insure the maximum knowledge possible of both the client's existing operational system and the effects of the proposed improvements.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN

In addition to providing water distribution system design services, Kenvirons, Inc. has the ability to provide state-of-the-art design for the construction of new water treatment plant facilities. The firm can proudly point to the design of several new facilities throughout the State, as well as, providing design services for a host of rehabilitation and water plant expansion projects.

WATER STORAGE TANKS

From the mega-sized 1,000,000 gallon plus water storage tanks to small 25,000 gallon local service tanks, Kenvirons, Inc. offers expertise in all elements of tank design. The firm has had experience in the design of elevated, stand pipe, ground storage and pedisphere tanks. While serving a host of clients in the mountainous terrain of Eastern Kentucky, the firm has gained experience in designing water storage tanks located in challenging location, with even more challenging hydraulic conditions. As such, the firm is comfortable in designing any type of tank project - from the most simple to the complex.

 

UTILITY RELOCATION

With a growing number of highway construction and improvement projects throughout the Commonwealth, Kenvirons, Inc. is continually asked to provide the engineering services necessary for utility relocation projects. The firm is familiar with the prescribed process for establishing fees and has been successful in negotiating on the client's behalf to ensure that relocations are in the long-term best interest of the utility owner. With a client base located throughout the State, Kenvirons, Inc. is familiar with the policies of the Kentucky Department of Transportation and has the ability to expedite plans for relocation projects in order to meet construction time schedules.
