AIR PERMITTING AND TESTING

Kenvirons, Inc. has provided professional services for over 1,000 different air related projects nationwide. The firm has conducted both routine and specialized testing of all types of emission sources. Kenvirons, Inc. is capable of providing testing services for all standard pollutants such as particulates, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and volatile organic compounds. Additionally, the firm has conducted numerous Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP) testing activities to determine both source applicability and source compliance with MACT requirements. Recently, Kenvirons, Inc. achieved full environmental laboratory accreditation for stack testing and analytical activities in the State of Louisiana under the Louisiana Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (LELAP/NELAP). Louisiana is currently the only state in the nation to require stack testers to be accredited under this program.

Kenvirons, Inc. routinely prepares new construction permits for major and minor sources. The firm has prepared numerous PSD permit applications for all types of sources. The preparation of these permit applications included evaluating BACT or LAER. Kenvirons, Inc. is extremely knowledgeable of the MACT requirements for numerous emission categories and has been involved in the development of case-by-case MACT determinations.

Currently under U.S. EPA's Title V program, Kenvirons, Inc. has prepared the Title V operating permits for nearly one hundred facilities nationwide. These operating permits include determining an appropriate periodic monitoring program and preparing monitoring programs for compliance with the CAM rules. Kenvirons, Inc. also routinely works closely with the clients of the firm to ensure that compliance can be demonstrated on a routine basis. This includes development of data management systems, monthly emission calculation spreadsheets, proper record retention procedures and report preparation.
